Write. Publish. Read!

Here fws paid subscribers (a mere $10 annually) will find writing prompts (to be posted monthly or more often). These are actually syllabi I have used to facilitate writing workshops with adults for the past decade. Each includes a writing warm-up, writing samples that help you understand more about how you might approach each prompt, and at least one writing exercise. Just click the subscribe button below to get started!

Or choose a title from the “Prompt Links for Subscribers” list below. Once you are there and if you have not already done so, you will be prompted to become a paid subscriber. This is an annual $10 fee that gives you access to all paid subscriber content for an entire year.

Subscriber content also includes access to a PDF (downloadable) version of my novel, Making Room for George, a collection of my poems, what she holds (coming soon), and more.

Once you’ve written a piece to a prompt from the idea box, submit it for consideration for publication on fws: Writer’s Idea Box. Poetry, CNF, micro-fiction, memoir and hybrid work will be published upon acceptance. Click the submit button below for more guides and to submit (after you’ve subscribed).

The publication will be viewable by the public and promises to become a lively digital anthology. I can’t wait to read what you’ve written. Good luck!
