Yes! Without exception, when I purge, rearrange, or shift in any way, especially having to do with space, there then exists a vacuum, an emptiness that invites new form, new energy, new creation. This idea is not new. One of the first artist/writers to introduce the principle to me was Mathew Fox in his book Creativity where he writes about “creation spirituality. (I’m pretty sure this is the source) He tells creators to purge, clean, or rearrange when they feel blocked and that this is also a form of Divine Movement, an invitation, if you will.
